Depeche Mode have announced a new film titled Depeche Mode: M, which features interstitials and archival footage from the band’s Mexico City shows on the 2023-2024 “Memento Mori” tour. The feature-length film was directed by Fernando Frías (I’m No Longer Here), and captures shows that featured the band playing to 200,000 fans in Mexico.
Depeche Mode: M will premiere in theaters later this year. The “Memento Mori” tour saw them play to more than three million fans at 112 shows around the world. Revisit our review of Memento Mori here, and check out the band’s disclaimer posted during those 2023 shows below via a DM fan account.
