Post Animal have announced that their new album, Iron, is set to arrive on July 25. What’s more, the new project features original member, Joe Keery, who initially left the band to focus on acting as Stranger Things became the most popular thing on Earth (more recently, Keery’s musical project Djo has been making some serious noise). Iron’s first single “Last Goodbye” is a laidback chiller with ’70s AM drums and the subtle whine of a perfectly placed pedal steel part.
“This record felt like a revitalization of our friendships and our band,” Post Animal’s Jake Hirshland said. “We always work collaboratively, but it’s amazing how reintroducing Joe into the mix brought back that dynamic from 2017.”
