Local Natives co-founder Kelcey Ayer is building on his solo resume with a new single called “Ghosts of Neighborhoods Dogs” featuring Jordana, which arrives next Tuesday. To celebrate, he’s throwing a free day party at Creature Comforts Tap Room & Brewery in Downtown LA. Presented by Dogs Only Social Club and Gillian Jean Creative—and sponsored by FLOOD as part of our ongoing 10-year anniversary shindigs—Songs for Neighborhood Dogs is literally for the dogs. There will be a special area for dogs and their humans, dog adoptions offered throughout the day (with a month of free daycare from Dogdrop for every adoption), and beer sales to benefit local nonprofit MaeDay Rescue and their work saving street and shelter animals.

Taking place Saturday, April 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., the event will feature live performances by Ayer and eclectic LA songwriter Kaycie Satterfield (adding to the theme, her latest single is called “Dog Year” and her album Rosie is named after her dog), along with a DJ set by Donny Dream. There will also be a raffle with fun prizes.

The event is free to RSVP with a suggested $10 donation at the door. RSVP below, and see you (and your dogs!) there!
