Jordan Topf had already collaborated with Macklemore, performed on Lollapalooza and The Tonight Show’s stages, and penned viral singles before releasing his debut album under his musical moniker Windser. Following the release of that self-titled project back in May—which featured session players from Phoebe Bridgers’, Lucinda Williams’, and Father John Misty’s live bands on just the single “These Days” alone—the LA-based songwriter is now taking these songs on the road, with a set of North American dates planned throughout August and beyond.
In the meantime, Topf is getting ready for these shows with a considerably more stripped-back “Neighborhoods” performance of two of the record’s tracks: “Lose You” and “Shut Up and Kiss Me.” Set up on the stairs outside of his studio in Mount Washington, a neighborhood in Northeast Los Angeles’ San Rafael Hills, watch his solo acoustic performance of both songs below. You can also find his full list of upcoming tour dates with The Head and the Heart, Yuno, and The Maine here.
