I hope you didn’t fill up on pasta, because Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist are serving up more carbs and you’re not allowed to take home any leftovers. Chef’s rules! The now-iconic duo have announced that Alfredo 2—the sequel to May of 2020’s Alfredo—will be arriving a week from tomorrow, July 25. To celebrate the news, Gibbs and Al have shared the project’s first single, “1995,” alongside Alfredo: The Movie.
The first single features a classic soul sample chopped up by Al, with Freddie spitting about rabbits and the brothers Antetokounmpo. In other words? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
