Louisiana blues legend Robert Finley has teamed up with his longtime collaborator Dan Auerbach for a new single entitled “Helping Hand.” The song was recorded at the latter’s Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville and released via his label of the same name. The song features performances from Auerbach and fellow guitarist Barrie Cadogan, drummer Malcolm Catto, bassist Tommy Brenneck, and keyboardist Ray Jacildo, along with additional vocals from Finley’s daughter, singer Christy Johnson.

The track also features some simmering ’70s psych-funk guitar melodies, hand percussion, and stirring vocals from the father-daughter combo. Check out the official video for the song below.
