It’s been 20 years since Lollapalooza retooled the iconic touring festival into a multi-day event at Grant Park in Chicago, with this year’s festivities still drawing record-setting crowds to witness more than 170 artists over the course of four days. Despite the annual post-fest data revealing the number of ambulance dispatches (42), arrests (12), Chance the Rapper stage-crashes (1), and stifling brand presence (tough to quantify), the weekend still brought plenty of exciting live sets, including those from Doechii, Magdalena Bay, The Marías, Remi Wolf, and Cage the Elephant, not to mention a record-breaking attendance for Olivia Rodrigo’s headlining performance and an ideal setting for Djo’s 2022 smash-hit single.
