In a new interview for W’s fashion issue conducted by Lynn Hirschberg, Lana Del Rey shared that her much-discussed new country album is now called Stove, and it “will likely be released at the end of January.” For those keeping track, Lana initially announced that the album would be called Lasso last year, but it was later revealed to be named The Right Person Will Stay. She also dropped a single called “Henry, come on” back in April.

According to the story, the album was set to be released in May of this year, but Del Rey added half a dozen new songs as she continued to work on the record. “They were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time,” Del Rey said of the new music. “The majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country! I’ve asked myself, Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?”
