Matt Berninger, solo artist and brooding leading man for The National, has shared a cover of New Order’s 1983 hit “Blue Monday” exclusively via Amazon Music. New Order has long been one of Berninger’s favorite “favorite bands,” and the cover has also been a reliable favorite for fans on Berninger’s current tour of the UK and Europe.
The “Blue Monday” cover was recorded with the same musicians who played on Berninger’s latest solo album, Get Sunk.
