Daft Punk are the latest group to enter the Fortnite universe, with the platform’s Daft Punk Experience set to arrive this weekend. On Thursday evening, a new bundle of accessories will be made available in the Fortnite shop—including outfits and accessories based on the duo’s familiar looks—and their smash-hit single “Get Lucky” will become available as a Jam Track. Then, on Saturday, the full Experience will kick off with a “fully interactive playground” being made available at 11 a.m. PT.
Per a press release, “The Daft Punk Experience gives fans and players a chance to enter into this retro-futuristic realm celebrating the band’s legacy, reimagined for the virtual world. Remix Daft Punk’s previously released music and create mashups of Daft Punk’s songs within Fortnite at Dream Chamber Studios, blast hordes of robots with a soundwave laser in the Robot Rock Arena, make a LEGO music video at Around the World, or hit the Daft Club to dance ’til dawn. You’ll also find furniture from longtime Daft Punk collaborators Hervet Manufacturier throughout the experience.”
