Beloved French electronic duo Braxe + Falcon (Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon) and beloved French rock band Phoenix have announced a new, sure-to-be-beloved French pop group called UFOs. The band’s first song, called “UFO,” is out now via Domino Records/Smugglers Way. The track comes with a video by Warren Fu that features “a montage of memories” from all members of the group.

The synth-heavy cut takes a second to warm up, but it basically sounds like Phoenix singing over a slow-building, disco-inspired pop cut. Pretty good shit, indeed. Regarding the project, the new band shared: “I don’t believe in Miracles but I do believe in UFO: Six friends, one song, infinite memories.”

Watch the “montage of memories” below, and check to see if the limited 12-inch of the release is available at your local record store here.
