Since launching four years ago, San Francisco’s annual Portola Music Festival has become a standard bearer for bringing together electronic music’s most innovative artists, highlighting both exciting new figures along with the genre’s pioneers. The 2025 edition built on that promise with a two-day lineup stacked with legends (Underworld, Moby, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy) and current stars (Magdalena Bay, Peggy Gou, Dom Dolla, Confidence Man), while also incorporating artists on the dance fringe from within the realms of rap, indie, and pop (Christina Aguilera, LCD Soundsystem, Noga Erez).
