Sedona has returned with a music video for “Kissing Spree,” the track that concludes her debut album Getting Into Heaven from earlier this year. The video—which was shot entirely on film, directed by Nina Koyfman, and made with a nearly all-female crew—gives off eerie vibes that often feel indebted to the late David Lynch‘s film and TV work from the mid ’80s to early ’90s. “‘Kissing Spree’ has got a real darkness to it,” Sedona revealed about the song. “I wrote it during the pandemic when I hadn’t seen anyone for a while. I really missed kissing.”
Sedona has also announced that she’ll be opening up shows for Drugdealer, Michael Collins’ psych-pop outfit which she also sings in. Drugdealer and Sedona will head to San Diego on October 27 before shows in Los Angeles (October 28) and San Francisco (October 29 and 30). Buy tickets for the gigs here.
