Tei Shi has returned with a remix of her track “Montón” courtesy of nusar3000. The song is one of many standouts from her fourth LP, Make Believe I Make Believe, which was released in August. This new version features the Spanish producer making everything speedy and pitching it all up into the heavens, turning Tei Shi’s voice into a skittering percussive accent.
“When I tried to imagine how I’d wanna hear ‘Montón’ remixed,” Tei Shi shared, “I was transported to a DJ set I saw nusar3000 do. I knew he would do something super fresh with the track and I’m so glad he was down. I really love what he did with it, somehow bringing out the sweetness of the song while also making it more drrrty and cranking the energy.”
