By Storm—the rap duo consisting of emcee RiTchie and producer Parker Corey, who made up two-thirds of Injury Reserve before their bandmate Groggs passed away in 2020—have announced that they’ll be releasing their debut LP My Ghosts Go Ghost on January 30 via deadAir. The project’s lead single “And I Dance” (which hits DSPs tomorrow, though the music video was released this morning) is a technicolor, heady trip that sort of sounds like the song that plays when a couple is taking ecstasy in a movie. “We ain’t gotta clean all this shit tonight,” RiTchie raps. Hell yeah. Dude looks fantastic in all white, by the way. After the party ends, Parker is at home brewing some coffee, making sure the vibes don’t get too sour in the comedown after all that dancing.

Regarding the new release, RiTchie said: “This past decade we built our identity and every record has been us figuring out more about the kind of band we want to be. That doesn’t change.” On My Ghosts, the only guest feature comes from billy woods, which is a badass move.
