As we’ve previously reported, Brooklyn’s CPR is your one-stop shop for all crisis public relations needs. One thing you might need such a service for is being excessively narcissistic, but perhaps your tendency to put yourself above others could be alleviated if you perform a song called “Narcissist” as well as the members of Crisis Public Relations do in the newest addition to our “Neighborhoods” series. Confused? Good.

Put it another way: Crisis Public Relations, one of the most exciting new rock bands currently grooving in the Big Apple, have shared a rather stunning “Neighborhoods” session, performing two songs from their debut EP, Life Rights. The setting is the rooftop of Lazy River Studios in Brooklyn, the time is seemingly golden hour. The group—which consists of Reggie Mids, Isa Heller, John Shakespear, Noah Tanen, Meg Wright, Syl Dubenion, and Tess Jacobson—run through “Narcissist” and “The Subletter” from Life Rights, shooting the glorious affair filtered through a grainy vintage video aesthetic. Everything we’ve seen and heard from CPR suggests that they’ve got their vibe dialed 1,000 percent. Would you expect anything less from music’s leading experts in handling any and every disaster?
