Next month, LA’s annual MusicPro conference is set to take place at Hollywood’s Musicians Institute, marking a new chapter for the event. Geared towards independent artists and aspiring music business professionals struggling to break into the ever-evolving and historically opaque music industry, the weekend’s slate of speakers, workshops, and other sessions from industry experts will help guide attendees through whatever technical, financial, or legal barriers they may be facing. There’s even one session dedicated to overcoming stage fright.

The 2026 edition of the event marks the first time that sponsorship and attendee fees will be donated to Give a Note Foundation—the music education nonprofit launched in the early 2010s with backing from 20th Century Fox, Glee, and Ryan Murphy—who will also be hosting the event. Also, as noted, this year will see MusicPro take place at Hollywood’s Musicians Institute College of Music for the first time. “The Musicians Institute campus during spring break is the perfect site for a conference like ours,” Give a Note CEO Dendy Jarrett shared in a press statement. “Being able to use classrooms brimming with music and AV gear, multiple recording studios, performance spaces, and the personnel to run them is a music conference dream come true.”

In addition to three days of engaging sessions, MusicPro has also become a major networking destination for up-and-coming musicians. Find more info on the event at MusicPro ’26’s website.
