With Sarah Kinsley’s new Fleeting EP set to arrive tomorrow via Verve Forecast/Fontana, the New York–based songwriter has shared the final single and accompanying music video from the project, “Truth of Pursuit.” The electro-pop thriller shakes with booming drums, textural synth melodies, and Kinsley’s soaring, powerful voice.
Regarding the single, Kinsley said: “‘Truth of Pursuit’ is that brief sonic bliss of what we feel when we play in the mess of romantic excitement and the what if. This song is equally for indulgence and the soaring mystery of connection, as well the sudden comedown from the high, smacking the cement of reality. What a joy it is to chase that high, to fall hard and fall fast, and to truly feel alive.”
