Lana Del Rey has shared a new single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” which was written by Lana alongside her sister Chuck Grant, her brother-in-law Jason Pickens, and her husband Jeremy Dufrene. The lo-fi country-folk tune is built upon Lana’s whispered vocals and strings that bend and twist around her haunting performance. “Everyone knows I had some trouble / But I‘m home for the summer,” she breathily sings. Jack Antonoff and Drew Erickson handled production, with the latter also composing the string part.
In an Instagram story posted earlier this month, Lana announced that her new LP is set to arrive in approximately three months. For real, this time. Maybe. For now, check out “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” below.
