Canadian alt-rockers The Strumbellas just wrapped up a massive tour in support of last October’s Burning Bridges Into Dust EP, with their North American dates extending from mid-November up through the end of March with only a month off between their Canadian and US dates. And in case you missed those shows, frontman Jimmy Chauveau and guitarist Jon Hembrey are giving you a stripped-down taste of what their “Into Dust” tour entailed: For a brief, sunny “Neighborhoods” session, the duo performed their 2016 hit “Spirits” and the new EP’s “Skin of My Teeth.”

The set was filmed on a day off in Medford, Oregon, where the pair found a scenic overlook to film in front of. Regarding their song choice, they shared that “Skin of My Teeth” was a logical pick as it was fresh in their repertoire. “The recorded version is a fairly busy arrangement with lots of instrumentation, so it was fun to strip it back and make a version that works with just acoustic guitar and vocals.”

Check out their two-song set below.
