Kurt Vile has announced that his new LP, Philadelphia’s Been Good to Me, is set to arrive on May 29 via Verve Records. Alongside the news, the songwriter has shared the first single from the project: “Chance to Bleed” is a cheeky rock cut that’s typical Vile, highlighted as it is by rootsy guitar playing and clever lyrics. He even does something akin to rapping here, which is a surprisingly nice fit for him! The music video, too, is a tribute to Philadelphia, shot at celebrated Fishtown venue Kung Fu Necktie.
