Restless retiree Steven Soderbergh still hasn’t returned to feature-length projects, but he has steadfastly stuck with his adored television project The Knick. As he did for the first season, Soderbergh directed every shot of the ten-episode second, which is set to premiere next month on Cinemax.
Ahead of the premiere, the first trailer has just been released, promising with it plenty more drugs, drama, and mustaches in the continued fictional account of the Knickerbocker Hospital in the early twentieth century. Clive Owen is back to star, just like he does in your dreams.
