Pulp have shared a trailer for the forthcoming concert film/narrative documentary Pulp: What Do You Do for an Encore? Directed by the band’s frequent collaborator Garth Jennings and narrated by Jarvis Cocker, the movie will stream exclusively on MUBI, though fans in the UK, Ireland, the US, and Canada will be able to see exclusive theatrical screenings this fall (September 18 in the UK, September 23 in Canada, and September 24 in the US). The accompanying live album, Live!, will be out via Rough Trade on August 28.
“A concert is an event where songs come back to life,” Cocker shared last month when the film and album were announced. “That’s why this album is called Live! It’s both a statement of fact (it’s a recording of a live band) and a challenge (come on! Everyone come alive!).”
