The gossamer dream-pop heard across London duo atmos bloom’s newly released LP Everythingness may sound relaxed, but the history behind it is anything but. Across these 10 tracks, Tilda Gratton and Curtis Paterson outline their journey together over the past seven years as musical and romantic partners—and even the period of young adulthood before they met—to create a record of musical harmony and lyrical flux. Hence the dramatic title, which hardly feels like an exaggeration once you’ve listened to the album.

With the record out now via Spirit Goth, Gratton and Paterson took to the district of Bermondsey in South London to share an acoustic version of the album’s single “It’s Enough” for “Neighborhoods.” With both musicians playing acoustic guitar, they manage to recreate the song’s dreamy textures with a vastly different palette. “We wanted to keep things really stripped-back with this version of ‘It’s Enough,’ going back to the roots of how the song was written,” the duo shares. “We love this spot in South East London for the way it combines the calm of nature with the skyline of the city. It felt like a good fit for this song and our new album Everythingness, which is all about balancing acts and contradictions.”
