Daniel Lopatin continues to bury the lede. First he detailed Garden of Delete, his eighth album as Oneohtrix Point Never, in an interview conducted by an alien named Ezra, which he embedded in a PDF on his website. Then he shared a YouTube stream of “I Bite Through It,” the album’s first single. Now he’s unleashed the entirety of Garden of Delete—in MIDI form.
Buried on KaossEdgeOfficial.com, a Geocities-esque website whose opening scroll suspiciously features the name “Ezra,” the files are available for remixing and reconstructing. So anyone out there with a copy of Ableton and a few spare hours can help you figure out what Garden of Delete might sound like. Lopatin is asking fans to send their constructions to [email protected] to be compiled in an archive. Check out those files here.
