Remember last year when everyone but you was at the Cameron Winter (Geese, duh) solo concert at Carnegie Hall? All the cool dudes—Paul Thomas Anderson, Benny Safdie, Trey Anastasio, Michael Stipe—were taking in the homecoming, mama-I’ve-made-it NYC gig, and they were all talking about how you weren’t there? Well, you may never get over missing the gig, but here’s a nice consolation prize: Winter has announced that a recording of the show will be released via Partisan Records and PIAS on October 9.
It’s unclear if any of the footage that PTA and Safdie filmed will make an appearance any time soon, but the concert, which features Winter moving through songs from Heavy Metal, will be available to hear in just a few short months. Pre-order Live at Carnegie Hall here.
