Autre Ne Veut (né Arthur Ashin) has no interest in making you comfortable. The video for “World War Pt. 2,” the first single taken from next week’s Age of Transparency, featured the least erotic sex scene this side of a Nick Cave novel, and now he’s taking over an office building and scaring the life out of helpless corporate drones in the “Age of Transparency” video.
“Age of Transparency” was directed by Allie Avital, who also directed the “World War Pt. 2” video. “Over the course of the last few months, we [Avital & Ashin] developed this mythology of a dystopian office where the businesspeople have turned to marble, and this mischievous Puck-like character plays amongst them,” she said in a statement. Age of Transparency is out next Friday (10/2) on Downtown.
