Checking in from the road, where she’s in the midst of her sold-out “Wor$t Girl in the World Tour,” pop star and electroclash revivalist Slayyyter has released “Crank 2,” which follows July’s “Brand New Chanel$” and her breakthrough March LP, Wor$t Girl in America. The OG “Crank” was featured on that album.
“Crank 2” has become a staple of Slayyyter’s live set, and comes alongside a self-directed music video featuring the singer alongside a group of dancers performing a choreographed number. During the chorus, Slayyyter reminds her haters that she’s inescapable: “You see me blowing up / I’m on your television.”
