After bulking up their fanbase this past spring with the release of Negroni Love—their first album in a decade—and a slew of festival appearances in support of it (including Coachella), Mind Enterprises are back at it this fall with plenty more live dates in the US and abroad carrying the nu-disco duo through the end of 2026. Andrea Tirone and Roberto Conigliaro’s long-running partnership and friendship were at the center of the project’s recent The Story of Negroni Love documentary, a 25-minute glimpse of life on the road released just last week.
The latest leg of their tour sees them touching down on the West Coast this week, including a stop this weekend at San Diego’s biannual CRSSD electronic music festival where they’ll be joining the likes of Disclosure, horsegiirL, Groove Armada, and more at the city’s Waterfront Park for two days of house music, techno, and beyond. As one such genre outlier, Mind Enterprises are focusing on Italo disco with the pre-event playlist they compiled for us, which includes a few of their own glass-clinking disco hits mixed in with some of the tracks that set them on their path to Negroni Love.

A masterpiece from a mysterious Hungarian producer—so mysterious that when we finally managed to get in touch with him on a video call after many unsuccessful attempts, he revealed himself in the shadows. I guess real legends have to keep the mystery.
Gigi D’Agostino, “La Passion”
Il capitano revisiting “Rectangle” by Jacno. His version is one of our all-time Italo dance favorites. We were teenagers when it came out, and we never stopped dancing to it. A tip: it’s the perfect track to wrap up a wild night.
