Since last checking in with Brooklyn’s Grumpy, band leader Heaven Schmitt has begun balancing their songwriting endeavors with a fairly monumental side gig: performing alongside their friend Zach Bryan, who also happens to be a world-famous country star. Arriving next month, Undefinable Ring will serve as Schmitt’s first release since expanding both their audience (given this new exposure) and the project itself, with the new material’s deeper complexity reflecting the more collaborative approach to songwriting with the aid of a five-piece backing band.
Ahead of the LP’s October 23 release via Bayonet Records, Schmitt is sharing access to their camera roll from a few recent shows with Bryan and as Grumpy—both in the US and in the UK. Check those out below, and pre-order Undefinable Ring here.
