Chappell Roan recently resurfaced after a relatively quiet 2026 with word of a new annual party taking place in LA in mid-October. Yet as she continues to promote her Super Graphic Spectacular, she’s also rolled out a new remix of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Expectations,” as promised earlier this week. The explosive new-wave-y cut gets a tune up with its back half ceded to new verses from Roan, who brings her own set of dating ambitions to match those of her writing partner on the track.
The remix arrives with an eye-popping visual that co-stars David Byrne as the host of a number of familiar game shows—Family Feud, Hollywood Squares, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune—on which the two pop stars (and their doppelgängers) square off. Check that out below.
