That was fast! FLOODfest Brooklyn 2015 is in the history books, but we sure had a good time while it lasted. After Brooklyn Bowl was packed for the noisy magic of night one, we knew we had the goods to finish strong.
Night two started with OSCAR, a one-man British invasion who instantly charmed the crowd with witty on stage banter and infectious indie tunes. Next up was Grace Mitchell, who stunned the crowd with tracks off her recently released Raceday EP including “Jitter” and “NoLo.” By the time headliners The Joy Formidable took the stage, the packed room was buzzing with excitement. Fans were treated to brand-new songs off of the Welsh band’s upcoming album as well as old favorites like “Whirring” and “Cradle.”
Special thanks to DTS, Ernie Ball Music Man, Brooklyn Bowl, and CMJ for helping to make both nights of FLOODfest Brooklyn such an epic success. Check out photos from the night below courtesy of Marc Lemoine, and stay tuned for the next installation of FLOODFest!
