After many months of speculation, Grimes has finally announced the title of her new LP: Art Angels. Claire Boucher announced the title and showed off the artwork—which she did herself—on Instagram today, along with the promise that she’ll be releasing a new single and video sometime next week. The drop comes following an interview with the NME in which Boucher claims Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and “bro-art.” She also told the British website that Art Angels track “Kill V Maim” is sung from the point of view of Al Pacino in Godfather Pt. II, only “he’s a vampire who can switch gender and travel through space.” Sounds about right.
