News of David O. Russell‘s upcoming film Joy broke earlier this summer with the release of one cinematic—and pretty confusing—trailer. And while we still don’t really get very many specifics about the Miracle Mop creator’s rise to fame within the film’s second trailer, we do get a better understanding of Joy Mangano’s (Jennifer Lawrence) family life and background.
