Shaun White Releases the Sophomore Lineup for Air + Style Los Angeles
J. Cole, HAIM, and Big Grams will hit the stage while world-class snowboarders hit the slope.
With Voodoo in the books and Fun Fun Fun this weekend, you’d think that festival season would be officially over. And while you would be right about the 2015 circuit, the 2016 season is just ramping up, literally.
For the second year in a row, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder/musician Shaun White is bringing his traveling band of athletes and artists (along with his sixteen-story jump) to Los Angeles for the US installment of the Air + Style festival. The fest’s penchant for championing an eclectic sonic experience—last year’s debut offering included Kendrick Lamar, Phantogram, Diplo, and the Flaming Lips—is still alive and well with 2016’s initial roster featuring J. Cole, HAIM, Action Bronson, Big Grams, Travis Barker, and more.
With its move to LA Sports Arena & Exposition Park, the current home of FYF, Air + Style will have a bigger area to showcase musicians, artists, and international athletes to LA. There’s also an added level of excitement to the “Air” portion of the fest now that Big Air snowboarding is officially an Olympic event for the Korean games in 2018.

Air + Style Los Angeles will take place February 20–21, 2016.
