“Hello Mr. Ford. How are you, sir?” That’s probably the best way you could respond to being ambushed by Han Solo himself appearing on your video chat, but that’s not what most people did when Harrison Ford hijacked Omaze‘s video chats with past donors (and major Star Wars fans). The majority freaked out, and rightfully so.
Ford, who seemed to love jumping into frame to shock diehard fans, joined the organization to announce the Star Wars: Force for Change contest. Not only did Ford explain the prizes available and the contest rules to the stunned donors, he made dreams come true by razzing the very people who adore him. “Is that your boyfriend?,” Ford said to a woman who was sitting by a picture of Chewbacca. “Lady, you can do so much better than that.” There’s that Han Solo sass!
You can enter to meet this playful man and his fellow Star Wars costars here. With a base donation of ten dollars, you’ll be in the running to attend one of the Force Awakens premieres (in London or Los Angeles), walk the red carpet, and meet the entire cast. Your entry will go to help fund fifteen charities picked by the Star Wars cast and crew including Feeding America, Malala Fund, Africa Cancer Foundation, and fStop Warrior Project.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out December 18.
