Mysterious and poignant, the 52 Hertz Whale is a whale that has been tracked since the late 1980s living a life of solitude due to its call frequency being completely unique from others whales—thus it has been dubbed “The World’s Loneliest Whale.” Moved by the story, actor and activist Adrian Grenier (Dell’s Social Good Advocate) is working on producing the upcoming documentary 52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale in the World, and has created a new nonprofit, Lonely Whale Foundation, the goal of which is to protect the ocean through awareness and education.

Dell X Perrier

Last Friday, FLOOD teamed up with Dell, Perrier, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to present the official launch of LWF at Art Basel Miami, which featured a DJ set by Wild Belle, a massive oceanic art gallery, and an interactive virtual reality experience presented by Dell. Grenier, who was sporting a ravishing rub-on neck tattoo, was on-hand to lead and inspire with a speech.
