Even though the hydra monster known as 20th Century Fox somehow managed to come up with a movie name that’s worse than “Independence Day 2,” face it: you’re going to see Independence Day: Resurgence. It may not have Will Smith in it, but it does feature Charlotte Gainsbourg, for whatever strange reason, and Jeff Goldblum is still Jeff Goldblum. Better yet, if only to pay simple tribute to the memory of national hero Randy Quaid—or to find out just how amazing Bill Pullman’s post-presidential beard is—you know you’re going to give away your hard-earned money on this one.

Still don’t believe me? Hit play on that trailer below, which reveals literally nothing pertinent about the plot, but instead is mainly just flashes of characters and sets that are related to the original (as well as a few glimpses of newcomers Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe, and Jessie Usher) working in pure confidence that your nostalgia will take over. Well played, hydra monster. Well played.

Independence Day: Resurgence is out June 24.
