Quilt have been under the radar for the last few years, but in advance of Plaza, their third LP, the Boston quartet seems poised to break out. The first we heard from that upcoming release was “Eliot St.,” a jaw-dropping choogle-ballad (just stick with me on that one), and next up we have the second single “Roller.”
Gorgeously produced by Jarvis Taveniere of Woods, whose primary group also released a new song today, “Roller” is prime-time stuff: strong riffs, memorable lyrics, a thoughtful arrangement.
