WATCH: Bleached Is Back and Wants You to “Keep On Keepin’ On” (and Maybe Drink a Hawaiian Punch)

The trio’s second LP Welcome the Worms is out on April Fools’ Day via Dead Oceans.

Some of you might remember Jessie and Jennifer Clavin from Mika Miko, but when that group broke up in 2009, the sisters went on to form Bleached, whose first album Ride Your Heart was a dive into a more refined direction—big guitars and big hooks.

After a bit of time to reset, the band is back with a new album, Welcome the Worms, which was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (a co-producer of Spoon’s They Want My Soul, in addition to The Strokes’ Angles), and features an expanded studio lineup to include Micayla Grace on bass (if only everyone’s names rhymed with their instruments…).

To mark the album announcement, the trio has shared a video for the first track, “Keep On Keepin’ On,” which sounds like a Cheap Trick song from the title, but more like a Runaways/Replacements hybrid from the actual music. You can take a jog with the group through a paranoid, Hawaiian Punch–filled day in LA, and go through complete album and tour info, below.
