WATCH: Grimes Takes Things Underground in “Kill V. Maim” Video

The Art Angels standout gets a hyperkinetic clip.

Since taking over the Internet for a few moments last November when she released Art Angels, Grimes has been fairly quiet. Today, though, Claire Boucher dropped a video for “Kill V. Maim,” the cheerleader-pounding standout from her new album. The clip is exactly the kind of thing you may have been hoping for upon hearing that Boucher was now part of the Roc La Familia: there are subway station takeovers, synchronized twitching à la Missy Elliott, hyperbright harajuku culture, and lots and lots of blood. If this is Grimes with a video budget and total creative control, we’ll take more.
