In case you don’t remember the pure joy from last year, YouTube user (and official Cool Dad) Visual Burrito is at it again.
After making his twenty-two-month-old daughter Zoey a lightstick costume last year, her (and our) squeals of tech glee resounded across the Internet and scored the video over 22 million views.
This year, he’s back, with a special treat for his daughter’s upcoming trip to Disneyland. The tech gear on this thing is pretty neat, as Visual Burrito notes:
“After last year’s costume went absolutely nuts, I had to make a new one that was much, much better. The 2014 version is using digitally addressable LED strips hooked up to an Arduino microcontroller which I programmed (and still learning). It is responsive to sound and has 2 potentiometers and a button in the back of one of the ears for control and a microphone hidden in the front. It has 12 modes and 372 LEDs (124 chips with 3 each).”
And you thought your Halloween costume was going to be so good this year.
