WATCH: Arcade Fire Shares Touching Mini-Documentary About Bowie Second Line

"I hope he can hear it a little bit."

The immense sadness surrounding David Bowie‘s death at the beginning of this year was palpable. To combat their sadness and celebrate his legacy, Arcade Fire staged a second line in New Orleans with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the turnout was massive. Now, almost a month after the event itself, the frequent Bowie collaborators have released a six-minute video about the special day.

Hear Win Butler and Régine Chassagne talk about the importance of remembering Bowie in this way (“We’re in New Orleans and this is how we do it here.”) and watch the group move through the sea of people as they sing “Heroes,” below.
