Yesterday was “Twin Peaks Day”—the anniversary of when Special Agent Dale Cooper first arrived into town in the pilot of Twin Peaks. It was actually more of a cause for groaning than anything else, considering that if David Lynch had his shit together, we could’ve been watching the third season of the show by now (which won’t be out until 2017 if we’re lucky).

The members of the band Twin Peaks have been rather forward about how little the actual show influenced what they named themselves, but it still would’ve been the right thing to do if they had shared their new video for “Walk to the One You Love” yesterday—instead of today—as some sort of consolation for crossover fans. Whatever, it’s fine, guys. Life is pain. Go get ’em next year.

(The video is pretty tight, by the way. Single-shot excursion through the streets of Chicago. Check that out below.)

Down in Heaven is out May 13 on Grand Jury.
