Just looking at the Fun Fun Fun Fest 2014 line-up is pretty overwhelming, in the best possible way. Each of the three weekend days (ranging from November 7-9), is packed with great artists spanned over four colorfully named stages—and that’s not even including the night shows taking place in venues all over Austin. If you’re looking for something to make the gap between Halloween and Thanksgiving feel a little shorter, this is the best option.
Death From Above 1979, Alt-J, Neutral Milk Hotel, Modest Mouse, and so many more can be found on this bill. There’s such a range of diversity that it would be a challenge not finding someone you like. You’ll have Twin Peaks, METZ, Iceage, Black Lips, Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus, literally everyone on the Orange stage (The New Pornographers, Yo La Tengo, and Dum Dum Girls to name a few), and even some comedy acts sprinkled in. And if your name is Tom Haverford, you’ll be happy to know Ginuwine is playing too, though watching Wildcat! Wildcat! might be the better option in that time slot. Decisions, decisions. You’ll be making plenty of them.
