This is the best worst news ever. Sheer Mag, one of the most compelling and interesting rock bands around, are apparently not imminently releasing a full-length, as could have been implied by the release of their recent single “Can’t Stop Fighting.” That song has instead been slated onto a new EP—their third such release, naturally titled III 7″—which has been shared today in full on Bandcamp.
Hard to be bummed when the music is so rad. Overall, this third EP is slightly cleaned up from the first two, but not in any way besides to make it more digestible on headphones (as opposed to say, in its natural environment: through the tape deck of a ’78 Trans Am).
