Fiona Apple has been unfortunately quiet since the release of the fantastic Idler Wheel…, so it was a pleasant surprise to find her appearing on a new Andrew Bird track from his forthcoming album Are You Serious. The track, “Left Handed Kisses,” came out on its own last month, and is a brutal duet about love, or lack thereof.
Today, the imagery of the tune was made real with a video—just Apple and Bird, staring each other down, being pissed off. The video was directed by Phil Andelman, a prolific director most well-known for making videos for artists like Lenny Kravitz and Miley Cyrus.
