Given its similarities to cults and adjacent positioning in doomsday scenarios, Netflix seems like the perfect network for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The doomsday still awaits us for now, though, which is cool, because that means that we should still have time to catch the upcoming second season of the show (whether we’ll make it to the third season, which has already been greenlit, remains to be seen).
Also appropriate in the leadup to more episodes is that they’re out on tax day, April 15. If there’s anything that would make less sense when coming out of a bunker into modern-day Manhattan, it’s taxes. As you can see from the new trailer, however, there’s lots of other things that still don’t make sense to Kimmy, such as getting a dude’s number at a bar, or watching Internet videos at the library.
You can watch the new trailer below.
Season two of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is out April 15 on Netflix.
