New Orleans, famously, is a cauldron from May until mid-October. But you know what happens around Halloween? Sweet, glorious fall descends on the Crescent City with all its splendor, making it the ideal time to walk around the French Quarter, stumble through the bars in the Bywater, and take your sweet, sweet time heading Uptown on the street car.
