RECAP: Burton x Aoxi Launch at the Burton LA Flagship Store

In the heart of LA last night—at the Burton Flagship Store on Melrose—Steve Aoki and Burton launched a line of bags and luggage known as Burton x Aoki.

The party thrown for the occasion featured a cast of characters that harkened back to Cinespace Tuesdays, when Aoki’s label, Dim Mak, was a regular host, and was busy releasing singles from then-newcomers Bloc Party and The Kills.

Aoki has come a long way since then, becoming one of the world’s top DJs on the international circuit, so it only makes sense for his collection with Burton to focus on making world travelers foam at the mouth.
